The Buffalo campground is just off of US Hwy 20. The entrance just north of Pond Lodge on the east side of the highway. The campground is located adjacent to the Buffalo River and sits at an elevation of 6300'.
There is an amphitheater at which "Smokey the Bear" is often present at the evening interpretive program held on holiday weekends as well as other selected weekends. Check our "EVENTS" webpage for specific dates & times
The Group Area and several of the Individual Campsites may be reserved.
