The Buttermilk campground is located adjacent to Island Park Reservoir at an elevation of 6300'.  From US Hwy 20 go 2 miles west on the Yale/Kilgore Rd. then about 2 1/2 miles south on the Buttermilk Loop Rd.
 

A boat ramp and large parking area is located between the main campground and the group camping area.

The Group Area and several of the Individual Campsites in the 'B' loop may be reserved.
